Thyroid (थायरॉइड) is a gland located in the neck that plays a crucial role in regulating various bodily functions through the secretion of hormones. It is divided into two lobes connected by a narrow band of tissue called the isthmus.
 
Functions of Thyroid (थायरॉइड के कार्य):
1. Hormone Production: Thyroid gland produces hormones like thyroxine (T4) and triiodothyronine (T3) which regulate metabolism, growth, and development.
   - थायरॉइड ग्रंथि थायरॉक्सीन (T4) और ट्रायओडोथायरोनीन (T3) जैसे हार्मोन उत्पन्न करती हैं जो मेटाबॉलिज़्म, विकास और वृद्धि को नियंत्रित करते हैं।
